Team LMR from Queensland have not one but two new HSV ripping up the tracks around Australia.

Team Owner, Gerard Keogh purchased two new R8’s from a Brisbane Dealership and set about to get them trackside.

An early “Hiccup” in the building process saw the cars find a new home with V8 Super Car Ace Cameron McLean who would soon wave his magic wand over The Generals Stallions.

Race cars require several improvements including many safety items such as, Roll Cages, Fuels Systems etc.

HSV provide a great baseline in which to work from and very little is needed to compete successfully in the ultra competitive Production Car Racing Series.

The Team had a delayed start to the season and have only completed minimal rounds at the tail end of the Series. .

This delay put the Team on edge and made for a nervous debut at Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick Queensland.
